Creative Learners

Our Principal's Challenge this term is all about being a creative learner.

We have been talking about what it means to be creative, and how we have already shown this.

Our thinking so far:

I think being creative is about by thinking outside the box. Maria    

Creative is using your imagination. I showed I am creative completing my homework, where I made a three times larger tomato sauce can, which looks exactly the same and really nice. Hunta    

Being creative is being arty and crafty. My calendar showed my creative side and showed the past, present and future we predict of New Zealand if we don't help our environment. Brooklyn W

To be creative you must come up with interesting and original ideas. This term I have been creative by doing lots of abstract art and drawings at home. Emily

Having good ideas for planning new fun games is thinking outside the box. Adam

I think a creative thinker is someone who has a great imagination and uses it and someone who thinks alot about creative things and has lots of fun and they are also sensible and they are on task alot and love using their imagination just enough!!!

Boring And Loves to Have Fun. But They Are Also Sensible With Their Choices

And Use Brainstorms So That Their Task Is Full Of Imagination But Just Enough To 

Make It Interesting.

Being creative means you use your imagination when doing writing, 

Maths, art, reading and computer work. It means you think for yourself and don’t copy others work. I was creative when I wrote my revolting recipe

and when I made my kiwiana item because knowone else used paint to make it look like there was real marmite in the jar.

A creative thinker is someone who can think about it in a very Imaginative way or do something differently to others.

jobs like being an Artist or a Painter are very good at this. 

They can share their ideas, and they enjoy making things.

Being a creative  learner is when you think outside of the box!!! And when you create new things (and not just coping someone else)One part of being creative is doing something NEW and inspireing other people (like famous Artists,Singers & Actors)
